We are looking for a senior full stack engineer with strong data expertise to strengthen our team and help us build impactful AI and cloud solutions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across the stack, thrives when building data heavy applications, and is curious about how AI and large language models (LLMs) can be integrated into real products. You will collaborate closely with teammates, contribute to solution design, and ensure that scalability, reliability, and quality are part of everything we deliver.

What you will do
In this role, you will:
- Work as part of a team on projects that combine data pipelines, cloud platforms, and modern web frontends
- Collaborate directly with clients to understand requirements and deliver well designed solutions
- Contribute to the design of architectures that balance data processing, storage, and user facing applications
- Build and maintain full stack applications with a data-first mindset, ensuring performance, observability, and reliability
- Integrate AI and LLM based features into client solutions
- Share your knowledge and help strengthen software and data engineering practices of Veracell
- Strengthen team autonomy by contributing skills across the stack, helping teams deliver end-to-end solutions
What we expect from you
We would love to hear your own take on the role, but ideally you bring:
- More than four years of relevant technical experience
- Strong experience in data oriented development, including data modeling, SQL and NoSQL databases, and data pipelines
- Hands on expertise in Python and TypeScript/React
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Understanding of distributed data frameworks such as Spark or Databricks
- Awareness of infrastructure as code and DevOps practices (Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD)
- Some knowledge of AI and LLM development, for example prompt engineering, retrieval augmented generation (RAG), or model evaluation methods
- Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with teammates and clients
- Ability to communicate constructively with both teammates and clients, making sure technical work is clearly connected to client business goals
Nice to have skills
- Experience with Elasticsearch, Kafka, or event driven systems
- Background in statistical modeling, machine learning, or MLOps
- Familiarity with modern AI assisted development environments such as Cursor
- Experience working in consulting projects

Our salary model is transparent and guided by a common table that applies equally to everyone at Veracell. The pay is set per your skill level. The base salary for a senior engineer is 4100 € per month, plus 8 € for each billed hour. With a typical load of 160 billed hours, the monthly salary totals 5380 €. We have ongoing billable projects needing your contribution.
